  "if it was'nt for the preaching work there would be millions more witnesses" - he was saying jehovah wants quality not quantity.. si i'm thinking, what's the difference as long as he has a people that live by bible standards and are moral.

  maybe sharing their hope and faith with friends and relatives on a casual basis?

  how backwards is that?.

  wtf is the wt doing to the minds of the brethren???.

  this morning i went to the post office at 7:50am to pick up a package.

  turns out the mail box section was open at 8am but the actual post office didn't open until 8:30am... rather than drive home and come back later i decided to get out my car and wait on a nearby park bench.

  WTF is the WT doing to the minds of the brethren???

  This morning I went to the post office at 7:50AM to pick up a package. Turns out the mail box section was open at 8AM but the actual post office didn't open until 8:30AM... Rather than drive home and come back later I decided to get out my car and wait on a nearby park bench. 2 minutes later, a JW I hadn't seen in nearly 8 years walks up and says hello. He didn't recognize me immediately but I jarred his memory and he immediately got happified or whatever the latest JW catch phrase is... He then went into how happy he was to be able to "regular pioneer" after all these years, bla, bla, bla...

  Anyways, he asked me what congo I had been attending and, for the first time, I had absolutely no problem responding that I had not been attending any meetings for over a year. He paused for a few seconds, looked down at his feet and said: "so you're dissasociated". To which I responded: "No... I'm not". Another awkward pause... "but you haven't been to a meeting in over a year" said he... "that's right" said I... "so... you're disassociated then." said he...

  Now I'm starting to get pissed... Finally, I asked him: "Is it possible that you might be confusing the words "Inactive" and "Dissassociated"... (yet another long and awkward pause)............ eventually, he then looks up and says... "Yes, I think you're right... I'll see you around" and then simply walks away.

  Now WTF was that all about???? Don't JWs know the f**k**g difference between an Inactive and Dissassociated JW???... This guy was completely clueless and brain dead. Seems like the dumbed down WT liter-a-trash is really making JWs dumber every year.

  New Light on the GB's new elite status still NOT AVAILABLE on JW.org in other languages (8 days later)

  so far, available in english only... i guess there is a lead time for the interpreters.... this presents an opportunity for those who attend non-english congregations to ask their jw friends important questions on this subject, have them research the wt cd and then present this new light as a "possibility".... for example, you can ask them questions like:.

  what would you say if i told you that the governing body no longer represents the annointed (a.k.a the fds)?what would you say if i told you that charles taze russell is no longer considered a part of the faithful & discreet slave?what would you say if i told you that, even though the publications say the fds started in 33, they have only been around for 94 years?i'm pretty sure you will be viewed as an apostate... until this news on the annual meeting shows up in their language.

  just a thought.... .

  Does the Watchtower still make a big thing about the cry of "Peace & Security"?

  it was a big thing in 70's and 80's, but seemed to have died down during the 90's up until the time i left.

  i was wondering with the arab spring and increased unrest in the middle east, whether the brothers are speculating about this again?.

  The GB will normally recycle a talk outline about "Peace & Security" whenever they see world conflicts cooling down a bit. It's a way to wake up sleeping dubs. For example, late 2009/early 2010 seemed to be a relatively quiet period (emphasis on "relatively"). So guess what the special "Special Talk" was after the 2010 Memorial?

  we know he was faithful to frederick franz (or frederick franz was faithful to him).. we know he was discreet because so little is known about him today.

  for example, we know that he was in the writing department (even though he never professed to being a jw), that wore expensive jewelry and that he was frederick franz spokesman (or did i get that backwards?)....

  also, much has been said about salihs strange hebrew-to-english bible translations (supposedly used by frederick franz when writing certain wt articles) and several illuminati and/or freemason conspiracy theories have been analyzed, yet this guy has managed to slip under the radar almost completely unnoticed by all jws and will probably be completely forgotten in just a few years.. so, who really is the faithful and discreet natheer salih?

  Also, much has been said about Salih’s strange Hebrew-to-English bible translations (supposedly used by Frederick Franz when writing certain WT articles) and several illuminati and/or freemason “conspiracy theories” have been analyzed, yet this guy has managed to slip under the radar almost completely unnoticed by all JWs and will probably be completely forgotten in just a few years.

  So, who really is the faithful and discreet NATHEER SALIH? What was his role exactly?
